Hi friends! Today I wanted to share with you some super simple crafts kids of any age can easily and quickly make at a pool party. My favorite thing about these crafts is how affordable they are. The materials are few and some you might already have at home or find them really cheap at the dollar store.
Pool Noodle Crab
To make this easy craft all you need is:
- Red or orange pool noodle
- Red or orange pipe cleaners (cut in two pieces)
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Parents: Cut the pool noodle into pieces of two inches width. Use a knife for a sleeker cut. Use the hot glue gun to glue the eyes to a flat side of the pool noodle. You can let the kids do this step, or you can do it ahead of time to save time and make it even easier for the kids.
Kids: Stick two pipe cleaners into each side of the pool noodle pieces and bend them to make them look like crab legs.
Pool Noodle Boat
To make this fun little craft you will need:
- A pool noodle of any color
- Foam sheets
- A single hole puncher
Parents: Cut the pool noodle into pieces of two inches width. Use a knife for a sleeker cut. Cut triangles out of the foam sheets and make two holes in each triangle, one closer to the top, and one closer to the bottom.
Kids: Stick the straw through the holes of a foam triangle and then stick the bottom part of the straw to a flat side of the pool noodle. Now take it to the pool (or maybe the bathtub?) and see it float!
Alright! If you do make these crafts please send me a picture, I want to see how they turn out!
